Irish Moss for Home Brewing / Beer Making 30g Irish Moss (Chondrus Crispus) is boiled with the wart to attract proteins and other solids which is then removed from the beer to aid clarification.
Irish Moss is often added at the same time as any flavouring hops and helps prevent protein haze.
Directions for use:
Add 1 tsp during the last 15 mins of the boil to help clear your beer.
