2 Barrel Cap complete with S30 Valve
Suitable for Pressure Barrels with 2 Neck
Compatible with SodaStream Style CO2 Cylinder
The cap fits most barrels with a 2 neck to enable the injection of gas using a SodaStream style CO2 Cylinder.
Supplied ready to use with fitted o-ring.
This valve isn't fitted with a pin so isn't suitable for using small 8g bulbs, only larger re-fillable cylinders.
The valve has a 2 way function, allowing the addition of gas and the release of excess pressure.

They are brand new, unused and are packed in crates of 12.
These bottles are suitable for secondary fermentation and are designed to withstand pressure, however it is important to take care before bottling and, ideally using a Hydrometer, check for completion of primary fermentation so that tops aren't forced off or breakages occur.

Hydrometer for Wine and Beer Making
A very useful piece of equipment for the home brewer
Use a hydrometer such as this one to measure the specific gravity of your wine or beer in order to achieve the desired alcohol content and to check when the fermenting process has finished.
Hydrometers are very useful when moving beer or wine from a primary fermenter to a secondary vessel. When a constant reading is achieved it's possible to accurately tell that the first stage of fermentation has finished.
Supplied with useful instructions & diagram and plastic tube - which can be used as a trial jar if necessary. Potential alcohol reading goes up to 17%. The hydrometer is made of glass so is packaged carefully to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Made in the UK.
Why use a Hydrometer?
In Home Wine and Beermaking, you can control the sweetness and alcohol content of your wine and beer by measuring the 'specific gravity' of the liquid with a hydrometer. It will help prevent bottling or transferring to keg too early.
